About Birding Services Brisbane
Roy Sonnenburg
has been studying and observing Australian birds, particularly in SE Queensland, for over 30 years. He is a Past-President of Birds Queensland (Queensland Ornithological Society) and a long standing member of most ornithological and conservation groups in Australia.Roy has completed graduate studies in ornithology, consults as an ornithologist, is an experienced bander (ringer), and writes occasional magazine articles on Australian birds.
Helen Sonnenburg was an accredited general tour guide who now looks after tour details, especially catering.
Both Roy and Helen enjoy welcoming visitors and showing them our wonderful Australian birds and other wildlife as well as plenty of spectacular scenery.
Birding Services Brisbane is a fully licenced tour operator (general and off road) with licenced tour drivers. All necessary permits and current Senior First Aid Certificates are held.Birding Services Brisbane cares about our birds and the environment.
